Senior Engineer - Mechatronics / Mechanical Engineering

About the role

Join a fast‑moving, consultancy‑style engineering team where you will turn complex ideas into tangible products. As a Senior Engineer you will own projects from concept through to delivery, working across mechanical and electronic domains.

Key responsibilities

• Take direct ownership of engineering projects, managing timelines, scope and resources.
• Maintain a live backlog, clearing delays and establishing a steady workflow.
• Lead hands‑on design, prototyping, testing and refinement of mechatronic systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and support technicians to resolve build and test blockers quickly.
• Collaborate with the Head of Engineering and electronics specialists to translate technical insight into actionable steps.
• Communicate scope changes clearly to keep progress uninterrupted.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience, preferably with a mechanical and/or mechatronics background.
• Proven ability to deliver projects in a high‑tempo, consultancy‑style environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands‑on approach.
