Senior Enterprise Risk Manager

About the role

REV & REGS LIMITED is seeking a Senior Enterprise Risk Manager to join a dynamic commercial and retail bank focused on mortgages and lending. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk, you will lead a team of three and operate within the Second Line of Defence, overseeing operational resilience, third‑party risk, data, cyber and emerging AI risks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead second‑line oversight of first‑line Operational Risk activities, including RCSAs, scenario analysis and control effectiveness reviews.
• Deliver a structured programme of key‑control assurance, thematic reviews and deep‑dives to identify systemic weaknesses.
• Own and continuously enhance the Group Operational Risk Management Framework and related policies.
• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of a strategic GRC system implementation (requirements, vendor selection, testing, embedding).
• Develop and embed Operational Resilience oversight aligned with regulatory expectations.
• Maintain and evolve the Group Operational Resilience, Third‑Party Risk and Data Risk frameworks.
• Provide independent challenge across cyber, technology, AI and other non‑financial risk domains.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in Operational Risk or Enterprise Risk within financial services or a similarly regulated industry.
• Demonstrated second‑line experience with oversight and challenge responsibilities.
• Broad knowledge of financial services risk, including operational resilience, third‑party risk, cyber, technology and emerging AI risks.
