Senior Equipment Procurement Manager

About the role

Acorn by Synergie is seeking an experienced Senior Equipment Procurement Manager to lead global sourcing, commercial pricing and tendering for retail display equipment. You will work closely with Sales, Design and Project Management to secure new business and drive continuous improvement across procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare commercially competitive tender submissions for retail display projects.
• Analyse customer specifications and technical drawings to develop accurate cost models and Bills of Materials.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies across global supply chains (Asia, Turkey, Europe, UK).
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times and supplier agreements.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, monitor commodity prices, freight costs and currency fluctuations.
• Build and maintain long‑term strategic supplier relationships and evaluate supplier capability.
• Onboard, audit and manage new suppliers to ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with Business Development to create winning tender strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement of procurement and tendering processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years procurement or buying experience in the retail display equipment industry.
• Previous management experience.
• Proven experience sourcing products through international supply chains.
• Strong supplier relationship management and commercial negotiation skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Sage X3.
• Degree‑level education.
• Excellent commercial awareness, analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and strong organisational skills.
