Senior Extra Care Officer (Housing)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, customer‑focused Senior Extra Care Officer to join the team at Bristol Court, a specialist Extra Care Housing scheme in Feltham. This full‑time, on‑site role provides fixed‑term cover for a secondment and involves supporting vulnerable residents throughout their tenancy journey.

Key responsibilities

• Manage tenancy sign‑ups and help new residents settle into their homes.
• Handle tenancy enquiries, provide housing advice and support rent account monitoring.
• Assist residents with housing, welfare and benefits issues and promote tenant responsibilities.
• Resolve low‑level anti‑social behaviour cases and coordinate repairs and day‑to‑day housing matters.
• Maintain accurate tenancy records, work with care providers and partners, and respond to emergencies and health‑and‑safety incidents.

Required profile

• Experience in housing management, supported housing or Extra Care environments.
• Good knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy management and safeguarding principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Strong organisational, proactive and customer‑focused approach.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a team.
