Senior Fabrication and Production Manager

About the role

The Senior Fabrication and Production Manager will lead Echo Studios’ workshop to deliver premium retail displays, fixtures and custom installations for luxury fashion and cosmetics brands. The role bridges design intent with flawless physical execution, ensuring every product meets strict brand standards, quality, and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all fabrication activities for high‑end retail fixtures, counters, gondolas, plinths and bespoke brand elements.
• Plan, schedule and control multiple concurrent projects to meet fixed retail launch and installation deadlines.
• Implement multi‑stage quality control processes to achieve zero‑defect delivery.
• Collaborate with Technical Design, Project Management and Creative teams to review drawings for buildability, tolerance and safety.
• Manage labour and material resources, control waste and support accurate budgeting and forecasting.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing fabrication or production teams in luxury retail, fashion or cosmetics environments.
• Strong understanding of premium materials, finishes and sustainability considerations.
• Demonstrated ability to meet fixed retail launch dates and deliver projects on budget.
• Leadership skills with a focus on craftsmanship, quality and team development.

Required skills

• CNC machining and laser cutting.
• Technical drawing interpretation.
• CAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency.
• Experience with joinery, acrylic, metal fabrication and surface finishing.
