Senior Facultative Reinsurance Broker

About the role

Join a fast‑growing international reinsurance brokerage operating in London. As a Senior Facultative Reinsurance Broker you will place complex facultative risks into Lloyd's and global markets, working closely with underwriters and developing a core portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Structure and negotiate tailored reinsurance solutions across Property, Business Interruption and broader P&C/Specialty lines.
• Prepare and review placement slips, MRCs and supporting documentation, ensuring regulatory and governance compliance.
• Manage relationships with cedants, producing brokers and reinsurers to retain and grow existing business.
• Generate new business by identifying opportunities and presenting detailed submissions to underwriters.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver timely, high‑quality outcomes for clients.

Required profile

• Proven senior experience in facultative reinsurance broking with strong knowledge of Lloyd's and international markets.
• Track record of placing Property and/or broader P&C facultative risks.
• Established relationships with key underwriters.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance or a related discipline is preferred.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Lloyd's market processes.
• Understanding of Property, Business Interruption and P&C facultative placements.
• Ability to analyse complex risk data and produce accurate placement documentation.
