Senior Field Service Engineer – Scissor Lifts & Dock Levellers

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to join an established engineering services company in Gloucester. You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing scissor lifts, dock levellers and related powered‑access equipment across a regional patch that includes Bristol, London, South Wales and Cornwall.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on scissor lifts, dock levellers and associated equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and ensure equipment is returned to safe operating condition.
• Provide technical support to fellow engineers and assist with complex site issues.
• Travel door‑to‑door, with occasional overnight stays depending on job location.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer working with scissor lifts, dock levellers or similar powered‑access equipment.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
