Senior Finance Analyst – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Moorepay is strengthening its finance capability and seeks a commercially‑minded Senior Finance Analyst on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role blends high‑quality financial reporting with insightful analysis and business partnering, supporting senior finance leadership and the company’s transformation agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, KPI reports and support month‑end close.
• Prepare variance analysis and commentary to explain business performance.
• Maintain balance‑sheet reconciliations and robust financial controls.
• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Deliver ad‑hoc analysis and reporting for senior finance and business stakeholders.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning activities, enhancing financial models and reporting tools.
• Support revenue reporting integrity, investigate discrepancies and ensure strong governance.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or newly‑qualified accountant with a commercial mindset.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Experience in month‑end reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with finance business partners and senior leaders.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (2 days onsite).
