Senior Finance Analyst – 6 Month FTC

About the role

This is a six‑month fixed‑term contract for a Senior Finance Analyst within a growing multi‑site business. The role sits in the FP&A function, reporting to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis, and requires an immediate start with a hybrid work pattern (one day a week in the office, otherwise remote).

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate, timely reporting and analysis across a multi‑site environment.
• Investigate performance movements, explaining key drivers, variances and trends.
• Build and improve Excel models and forecasting tools for scenario analysis.
• Use SQL to extract, structure and analyse data from multiple sources.
• Develop Power BI dashboards that enhance performance visibility.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and board reporting cycles.
• Partner with stakeholders across sites and functions.
• Improve data quality, reporting processes and management information.

Required profile

• Strong experience in a multi‑site, multi‑team or operationally complex environment.
• Advanced Excel skills, including modelling and analytical tool building.
• Solid SQL expertise for data extraction and transformation.
• Power BI experience, including dashboard development.
• Comfortable handling large datasets and translating them into clear business insight.
• Curious, commercially minded and confident asking why.
• Clear communicator able to simplify complex analysis.
• Immediately available or able to start on very short notice.
