Senior Finance Analyst

About the role

We are partnering with a large logistics business to find a Senior Finance Analyst for their growing finance team in Leeds. This role goes beyond routine reporting – you will turn data into insight, influence decisions and help shape overall business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver meaningful financial analysis and performance reporting across the business.
• Build and improve forecasting, budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide actionable insight.
• Analyse trends, risks and opportunities to support business growth.
• Develop dashboards, models and reporting that drive better decisions.
• Support month‑end and business performance reviews.
• Contribute to projects focused on process improvement and finance transformation.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or finalist nearing qualification.
• Previous experience in FP&A, commercial finance, financial analysis, business partnering or management accounting.
• Strong analytical capability with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and turning detail into clear recommendations.
• Commercially minded with a proactive, curious approach.
