Senior Finance Lecturer – Remote Academic Role

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Academic to join a leading education provider on a contractual basis. This remote position focuses on delivering high‑quality accounting and finance education while contributing to scholarly research.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in accounting and finance, including lectures, seminars and tutorials.
• Conduct original research, publish papers and present findings at academic conferences.
• Supervise and mentor students, providing guidance on academic and career development.
• Build and maintain relationships with professional bodies and industry partners to keep curricula relevant.
• Participate in departmental activities such as curriculum design, quality assurance and institutional initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent qualification in accounting, finance or a closely related discipline.
• Proven track record of teaching and research at the university level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with students, colleagues and external partners.
• Strong understanding of current trends and issues in accounting and finance.

Required skills
