Senior Finance Manager – Interim (Temporary)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading charity to appoint an interim Senior Finance Manager during a period of significant organisational transition. This hands‑on, strategic role will stabilise the finance function, support senior leadership and mentor a developing finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the production of management accounts and ensure high‑quality reporting to commissioners.
• Manage unpredictable funding streams and maintain financial continuity.
• Develop financial dashboards and streamline reporting packs for senior visibility.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to the internal finance team.
• Navigate internal changes with diplomacy, keeping the team confident throughout the transition.

Required profile

• Highly experienced finance professional able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working across high‑level strategy and day‑to‑day accounting tasks.
• Strong communicator who can mentor while remaining sensitive to team dynamics.
• Available for an immediate start to ensure a smooth handover.
