Senior Finance Transformation & Reporting Lead

About the role

We are partnering with a major UK charity that is embarking on a 12‑month finance transformation programme. As the Senior Finance Transformation & Reporting Lead you will own the financial reporting workstream, shaping the new operating model and delivering enhanced reporting, planning and performance management capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of a robust financial reporting framework aligned to the new operating model.
• Develop and enhance reporting solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI.
• Produce sophisticated financial models, forecasts and scenario analyses to support senior decision‑making.
• Establish budgeting, financial planning and performance‑management processes that reflect organisational change.
• Ensure data integrity, governance and accuracy across all financial reports throughout the programme.
• Provide expert financial insight and challenge to senior stakeholders and act as a trusted business partner.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Digital, Data & Technology and Systems teams to meet tight programme timelines.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience leading finance transformation, reporting change or large‑scale business change initiatives.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capabilities.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and business partnering skills.

Required skills

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) – financial reporting module.
• Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
