Senior Financial Accountant – Interim (6‑12 months)

About the role
The company, a manufacturing group in Portsmouth, seeks a Senior Financial Accountant for an interim assignment covering a maternity leave. The role lasts 6‑12 months and reports to the Divisional Financial Controller.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare annual statutory accounts for multiple entities.
- Review and own balance‑sheet account reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting for assigned legal entities.
- Deliver US GAAP reporting and maintain SOX compliance.
Required profile
- Full accountancy qualification.
- Experience in a fast‑paced, multinational environment.
- Proven track record of maintaining balance sheets and preparing financial statements for several entities.
