Senior Financial Analyst – International Grocery Operations

About the role

Amazon's International Grocery Operations Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead FP&A and automation for Under‑The‑Roof (UTR) finance across the UK, Italy, Spain and Japan. The role combines financial planning, operational analytics and reporting automation, partnering with Operations, Accounting, Supply Chain, S&OP and Business Intelligence teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own variable cost (VCPU) reporting and planning across four international markets, delivering weekly operational decks, monthly leadership communications and planning cycle inputs.
• Lead automation and BI initiatives as the primary Finance interface with the FIRE (Finance Intelligence & Reporting Engineering) team.
• Manage Cost Per Hour (CPH) wage planning, consolidating inputs from labour agencies, PxT and Operations for all planning cycles.
• Consolidate UTR finance data, integrating variable cost productivity, freight‑in, fixed cost and wages into an integrated view for VP/Director‑level reporting.
• Drive month‑end close controllership, including accrual management, cost booking, reconciliation and audit trail ownership across four countries.
• Build and maintain executive dashboards and scorecards, such as the International Rating Balanced Scorecard.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Operations and S&OP teams to identify cost‑reduction opportunities and challenge assumptions.
• Contribute to worldwide standardisation by developing scalable reporting frameworks and automation solutions.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in financial planning and analysis within a multi‑site, multi‑country environment.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams without formal authority and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Hands‑on approach to identifying gaps and delivering automated solutions.
