Senior Financial Controller

About the role

Mobysoft is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to lead its finance function. You will oversee day‑to‑day accounting, prepare financial reports for the CFO and investors, manage payroll and bonus schemes, and ensure robust audit and internal control processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare timely month‑end financial reporting within Netsuite.
• Conduct detailed monthly revenue reviews and reconcile Annual Recurring Revenue.
• Oversee monthly re‑forecasts, collaborating with the CFO and executive team on pipeline and cost changes.
• Manage the full month‑end close, produce management accounts and board reports.
• Deliver monthly reporting to two private‑equity owners, the bank, and investors, including covenant reporting.
• Line‑manage the Finance Business Partner and Senior Financial Transactions Manager.
• Process payroll and coordinate with HR on employee changes.
• Administer Netsuite, Docusign and Concur finance systems.
• Liaise with tax advisors for corporate tax filings and PSA liabilities.
• Coordinate the annual audit and provide required information to auditors.
• Support shareholder equity movements and assist the commercial team with procurement contracts.

Required profile

• Legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
• Proven experience leading a finance function within an SME.
• Strong background in audits and managing customer contracts.
• Senior‑level experience in financial reporting and control.
