Senior Financial Controller – Music Industry (London, Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Controller for a leading organisation in the music industry, based in London with a hybrid working model (three days in the office). This senior leadership position offers the chance to shape finance operations and drive transformation in a dynamic sector.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end financial operation, including month, quarter and year‑end close.
• Manage balance‑sheet governance, statutory and regulatory reporting, and audit readiness.
• Oversee cash and working‑capital management.
• Lead a small finance team and deputise for the Finance Director.
• Present financial performance to Board and Executive committees.
• Contribute to the finance function’s transformation agenda, including new systems and processes.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven senior controllership experience.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and UK tax.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing teams.
• Credibility when interacting with Board and senior stakeholders.
