Senior Financial Controls Manager

About the role

Nomad Foods is looking for a highly motivated Senior Financial Controls Manager to join its hybrid Hammersmith team. You will work alongside a talented group supporting some of Europe’s largest frozen‑food brands, helping to embed and sustain a robust Financial Controls Framework across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Financial Controls team in Hammersmith, overseeing day‑to‑day activities and liaising with the Woking head‑office.
• Deputise for and represent the Head of Internal Controls, modelling a professional controls culture.
• Drive the implementation, communication, training, monitoring and continuous improvement of controls for Record‑to‑Report, Procure‑to‑Pay and Order‑to‑Cash processes.
• Partner with Hammersmith leadership, the Shared Finance Centre Director and regional controllers to manage control activities, deficiency remediation and risk identification.
• Promote the Shared Finance Centre as a centre of controls expertise and present at town‑hall meetings.

Required profile

• Significant experience in financial controls, audit support or internal control environments, preferably within a multinational FMCG or food‑production business.
• Proven ability to lead a small team and influence stakeholders at senior level.
• Strong understanding of risk‑based control frameworks and process‑based controls (R2R, P2P, O2C).
