Senior Financial Regulations Reporting Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Regulations Reporting Analyst to join our finance team in Wantage. The role focuses on ensuring full compliance with external financial regulatory frameworks, including detailed spend cap requirements, and supports decision‑making up to the CFO and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare compliant regulatory submissions that are accurate, timely and audit‑ready.
• Collate and analyse data to support CFO responses and regulator clarification requests.
• Support external audits, including agreed‑upon procedures, and produce related documentation and working papers.
• Build and maintain monthly actuals reporting against the spend cap as part of the wider finance reporting cycle.
• Review source documentation and transactional data for compliance, escalating ambiguous items.
• Assist with annual forecasting alongside the Finance Business Partner team to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Write technical papers documenting the organisation’s interpretation of specific regulations and maintain the fair‑value assessment schedule.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience in a finance, reporting or compliance role within a regulatory or rule‑based environment.
• Strong track record of preparing and reviewing financial reports with high accuracy.
• Experience supporting internal or external audits.
• Confidence handling and analysing large datasets in Excel.
• Ability to juggle multiple deliverables to tight deadlines.
