Senior FP&A Analyst – Finance Planning & Analysis

About the role

Robert Half is partnering with a high‑growth organisation in defence and technology to hire a Senior FP&A Analyst. You will work within a fast‑paced finance function, providing insight to senior stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly forecasting cycles, the annual operating plan and long‑range planning.
• Own and deliver reporting for UK leadership and the US parent company.
• Produce high‑quality month‑end and pre‑close reports to support efficient close processes.
• Provide insightful financial analysis for strategic decision‑making.
• Support quarterly reporting, including SJE and tax submissions.
• Partner with senior finance and operations stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and enhance reporting capability.
• Oversee junior resources, including finance graduates.
• Deliver ad‑hoc analysis for finance‑led projects.

Required profile

• Previous experience in FP&A or a commercially focused finance role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Confident communicator able to translate financial data into clear, actionable insight.
• Part‑qualified or newly qualified accountant, or equivalent experience.
• Desirable experience in manufacturing, aerospace or other technical environments.
