Senior FPGA Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior FPGA Engineer to lead the architecture and implementation of high‑performance FPGA solutions. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from concept and requirements definition to design, verification, testing and system integration, within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop FPGA solutions using VHDL and/or Verilog from concept to implementation.
• Create digital logic that delivers high‑performance, reliable hardware functionality.
• Develop and execute test plans, debug designs and support system integration activities.
• Evaluate and select FPGA technologies for new product developments.
• Use simulation, analysis and prototyping to validate designs and reduce technical risk.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on project planning, design reviews and product development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of FPGA development tools, processes and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing FPGA hardware using VHDL/Verilog.
• Hands‑on experience with Xilinx and/or Intel (Altera) FPGA toolchains.
• Strong understanding of digital and analogue hardware design principles.
• Experience with complex electronic hardware, PCB‑based systems and high‑speed design.
• Excellent debugging, fault‑finding and verification skills.
• Effective communication and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
