Senior Frontend Developer – React, JavaScript, GraphQL (Hybrid, West Sussex)

About the role

We are seeking two senior frontend developers to join a fast‑paced digital team in West Sussex. The role focuses on building and enhancing customer‑facing web and mobile experiences using modern front‑end technologies such as React, Next.js, GraphQL and a headless CMS (Adobe AEM). The contract is for six months, hybrid (two days onsite), with a daily rate of £500‑£700 inside IR35.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive web applications using React, Next.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Build accessible, secure and high‑performing user interfaces.
• Integrate front‑end components with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA and engineering teams.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support and optimise digital platforms within an Agile delivery environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Proficiency with React, Next.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS) and responsive design principles.
• Experience integrating with GraphQL APIs and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with headless CMS platforms, preferably Adobe AEM.
