Senior Full-stack Engineer, Core AI Services

About the role

AVEVA is seeking passionate senior software/full‑stack engineers to join the Core AI Services team, designing and scaling AI‑enabling platform services, agentic workflows and public APIs for industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, fault‑tolerant cloud‑native services on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop clean, responsive web user interfaces and developer tools using Angular.
• Develop secure, well‑documented public APIs and SDKs for internal and external consumption.
• Drive feature implementation from design to production, ensuring code quality, performance and reliability.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions across data pipelines, orchestration layers and service APIs.
• Embed robust security controls, identity management and privacy‑by‑design practices.
• Contribute to design reviews, code reviews and technical discussions.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level developers.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of full‑stack software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in cloud‑native backend development, preferably .NET/C#.
• Experience with modern web frameworks, especially Angular.
• Hands‑on experience with containerised deployments in Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design, versioning, testing and lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of securing APIs (OAuth2, OIDC, RBAC) and data‑privacy best practices.
• Proficiency with AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams across distributed locations.
