Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

The Senior Full‑Stack Engineer leads the technical direction and implementation of all customer‑facing technologies at Abel & Cole. The position blends hands‑on development with architectural leadership, ensuring a smooth software development lifecycle across web and mobile products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer‑facing websites and mobile apps built with Next.js and React Native.
• Integrate typed REST API clients generated from OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Extend and maintain .NET backend endpoints that power both platforms.
• Own features end‑to‑end, from design through delivery, release and monitoring.
• Provide technical leadership, set coding standards, and guide the engineering team on architecture and best practices.
• Identify and resolve technical debt, performance bottlenecks and reliability issues.
• Mentor mid‑ and junior‑level engineers through code reviews and pairing.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and QA in an agile environment.

Required profile

• Significant commercial experience as a full‑stack engineer with strong TypeScript expertise.
• Proven track record delivering React and React Native applications to the App Store and Google Play.
• Solid experience building web applications with Next.js or comparable React frameworks.
• Strong automated testing habits using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Comfortable working with Git and CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.
