Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Kotlin Developer to join our growing engineering team. The role is hybrid, with two days a week in the office across Leeds, Manchester or Birmingham, and focuses on delivering innovative digital solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable Kotlin‑based software applications.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and business stakeholders to deliver projects on time.
• Contribute to system design, technical architecture and code reviews.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement using modern DevOps practices.
• Mentor junior team members and promote engineering best practices.
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience with Kotlin and the JVM ecosystem.
• Solid background in Java and modern software development practices.
• Experience building RESTful APIs with Spring Boot.
• Familiarity with Node.js or TypeScript is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
