About the role

Citi Markets Technology is building greenfield Generative AI products that span multiple asset classes. As a Senior Generative AI Engineer at Vice President level, you will shape production‑grade AI systems that move beyond proof‑of‑concept to real business value.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and evolve Generative AI solutions for Markets use cases across asset classes.
• Engineer production‑quality services and applications primarily using Python.
• Apply modern AI patterns such as LLM orchestration, agentic workflows, retrieval‑based approaches and structured evaluation techniques.
• Contribute to architecture, engineering standards, and product thinking from idea through to production.
• Collaborate with a small, high‑impact team to ensure robust, maintainable, and scalable solutions.

Required profile

• AI‑first engineer with strong software engineering discipline and focus on quality.
• Experience turning fast‑evolving AI capabilities into production‑ready systems.
• Ability to see the bigger picture, challenge assumptions and influence product direction.
• Senior‑level experience appropriate for a Vice President role.
