Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer – Remote (UK)

About the role

The company is a well‑established environmental consultancy operating across the South of England. They are seeking a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to work primarily remotely, with occasional visits to the office in the South. The role offers the chance to lead complex site investigations and deliver high‑quality geo‑environmental solutions for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver full‑scale site investigations, including drilling, sampling and laboratory coordination.
• Conduct contaminated land assessments and produce risk assessment reports in line with UK regulations.
• Prepare technically robust geo‑environmental and geotechnical reports for clients and regulatory bodies.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff, ensuring quality and professional development.
• Maintain project budgets and schedules, liaising with clients to meet expectations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior geo‑environmental engineering role.
• Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering).
• Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication and project management abilities.
