Senior HFT Trader – London

About the role

We are launching a new London office for a leading high‑frequency trading firm and need an experienced buy‑side trader to build and scale our European presence. The role is front‑office, hands‑on, with full ownership of risk and P&L on a technology‑driven platform.

Key responsibilities

• Run and grow a profitable trading book in a high‑frequency or low‑latency environment.
• Trade Delta‑1 products, ETFs, futures and/or options, focusing on intraday opportunities.
• Manage execution and risk in real time, adapting strategies to market conditions.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers and engineers to improve execution logic and performance.
• Contribute to the build‑out of the London office, shaping processes and market coverage.

Required profile

• 5+ years of buy‑side trading experience with a consistent, demonstrable P&L track record.
• Background in high‑frequency trading, market making or systematic execution at a proprietary trading firm or hedge fund.
• Deep understanding of intraday dynamics, order flow and market microstructure.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a pragmatic, execution‑focused approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python or C++ (or both) to work closely with developers and quants.
