Senior HR Advisor

About the role

Our client is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to work closely with employees and senior leaders. The role covers employee relations, recruitment, learning & development, reward, benefits and onboarding, with a hybrid working model based in Chatham.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation to managers and employees.
• Manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues.
• Analyse workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements to people management practices.
• Coach and develop managers to build capability in handling people matters and promote best practice.
• Lead recruitment and talent management activities, ensuring effective attraction, selection, onboarding and retention.
• Ensure compliance with employment law, company policies and regulatory requirements while minimising organisational risk.

Required profile

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or higher.
• Experience working in the manufacturing industry or a similar sector.
• Confident decision‑making ability and experience handling employee relations cases.
• Strong team player attitude.
