Senior HR Operations Business Partner

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior People Operations Business Partner to work closely with senior leadership teams, providing strategic and operational people support across the business. This role will shape workforce strategy, drive organisational change, enhance employee experience and support a high‑performing culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to align people initiatives with business objectives.
• Provide expert advice on complex employee‑relations matters and organisational challenges.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning and talent development activities.
• Use people data and analytics to identify trends and inform decision‑making.
• Lead and support business change and transformation programmes.
• Assist with organisational design reviews and restructuring activities where required.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development and Talent teams to deliver integrated people solutions.
• Promote employee wellbeing, inclusion and engagement initiatives.
• Support development of people strategies that encourage high performance and positive workplace culture.
• Coach managers on performance management, absence management and employee development.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures and practices remain compliant with employment legislation and best practice.
• Represent the People function in meetings, projects and leadership forums as needed.

Required profile

• CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Strong employee‑relations expertise and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proven experience of organisational change, workforce planning and managing a workforce of 500‑600 employees.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach.
• Strong analytical, coaching and communication abilities.
