Senior IFA Administrator – Client Services Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior IFA Administrator to join a respected independent financial planning firm in Berkhamsted. You will take ownership of complex post‑sale client cases, ensuring accurate administration and high‑quality service while supporting junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Manage post‑sale administration for complex financial planning cases.
• Maintain accurate client records and produce wealth‑management reports.
• Prepare specialist documentation such as CETVs, illustrations, Letters of Authority and provider paperwork.
• Submit new business and review applications via online platforms and manual processes.
• Monitor case progress to timely completion, complying with MiFID and GDPR standards.
• Act as primary client contact, handling queries, complaints and basic suitability reporting.
• Liaise with major investment and pension providers to efficiently manage client transactions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Independent Financial Adviser environment.
• Good understanding of the financial planning process, including MiFID and GDPR compliance.
• Experience with investment and pension platforms (new business submissions, withdrawals, sell‑downs, phasing transactions).
• Proficiency in XPlan, Intelligent Office or a comparable back‑office system.
