Senior IFA Administrator

About the role

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced IFA Administrator to join a well‑established, independent financial planning firm. The role works closely with advisers and paraplanners to support the delivery of high‑quality financial planning for a loyal and growing client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit new business applications and investment trades.
• Obtain illustrations, key documents and policy information.
• Produce cost and charges disclosures and pre‑advice packs.
• Support onboarding of new clients and ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Maintain and update accurate client records on back‑office systems.
• Manage workflows and diary tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Submit letters of authority and chase providers.
• Ensure all files are fully compliant and audit‑ready.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ financial services administration experience.
• Strong understanding of pensions, investments and financial planning processes.
• Experience with back‑office systems such as IO or similar.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Confident use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
