Senior In-house Conveyancing Paralegal

About the role

We are seeking a Senior In‑house Conveyancing Paralegal to join a London‑based estates and management business. You will lead residential property transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring compliance and protecting the company’s interests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of residential property transactions, including lease extensions, new leases, transfers, auction sales, easements, deeds and licences.
• Handle pre‑emption rights, Land Registry applications, adverse possession claims and unregistered titles.
• Conduct legal due diligence on leases, deeds and title documents, analysing title structures.
• Respond to legal and title enquiries from internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Update property management systems and coordinate information across departments.
• Support senior legal team members, meet deadlines and protect company interests.
• Develop and streamline case‑management procedures and assist with complaints handling.
• Prepare materials for presentations, meetings and filings.
• Mentor, supervise and support junior team members and undertake legal research.

Required profile

• Law graduate or equivalent with strong residential conveyancing experience.
• Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently.
• Excellent drafting and interpretation of complex legal documents.
• Strong understanding of property law and conveyancing procedures.
• Highly accurate written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised, reliable and able to work under pressure to deadlines.
• Professional, proactive and solution‑oriented with high integrity.
• Comfortable mentoring junior staff and computer literate.
