Senior Individual Giving Acquisition Officer (Maternity Cover)

About the role

Christian Aid is seeking a Senior Individual Giving Acquisition Officer on a 12‑month maternity cover to lead and expand its donor acquisition strategy. Reporting to the Individual Giving Lead, you will shape high‑impact campaigns such as Christian Aid Week, Christmas, and Emergency Appeals to attract new supporters and nurture lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive individual giving acquisition strategy across key appeals.
• Lead a team of two Acquisition Officers and collaborate with senior leadership.
• Manage budgets, forecast campaign performance and ensure cost‑effective delivery.
• Prioritise and drive regular‑giving recruitment across multiple channels.
• Test and optimise messaging, products and channels to grow both one‑off and recurring donors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fundraising, donor acquisition or related marketing roles.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Ability to analyse data, forecast results and manage budgets.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for the charitable sector.
