Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing IT service provider, is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, deliver and support robust networking and cloud solutions for a portfolio of clients. The role is hands‑on with a strong focus on networking, while also acting as the senior technical escalation point.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver infrastructure and networking projects across multiple client environments.
• Design, implement and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN and firewall solutions.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex infrastructure and networking issues.
• Conduct infrastructure assessments, technical onboarding and solution reviews.
• Document and maintain network diagrams, technical procedures and operational documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams on project delivery and pre‑sales technical discussions.
• Drive automation, standardisation and continuous service improvements.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance client environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an MSP or multi‑customer environment.
• Strong networking expertise combined with broader infrastructure knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver technical projects.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
