Senior Infrastructure Engineer/Monitoring SME

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in monitoring, particularly Microsoft SCOM, to support and enhance our enterprise observability platforms across hybrid on‑premise and Azure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and improve monitoring platforms such as SCOM, Azure Monitor, PRTG and VMware Aria Operations.
• Develop and tune alerts, dashboards and service views to increase proactive monitoring and reduce noise.
• Build and maintain SCOM Management Packs and related configurations.
• Automate health checks and monitoring tasks using PowerShell.
• Provide third‑line support for Windows Server and VMware infrastructures.
• Support Azure hybrid services including Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Azure Arc.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application and security teams on service onboarding, incident handling and root‑cause analysis.
• Integrate monitoring tools with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.

Required profile

• Strong Windows Server administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Hands‑on experience with SCOM and other enterprise monitoring solutions.
• Proven experience in hybrid cloud (on‑premise + Azure) environments.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Good knowledge of VMware, monitoring concepts and ITIL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
