Senior Insurance Specialist

About the role

PoloWorks is looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Insurance Specialist to join its Underwriting Services team in Cheltenham. You will work with London Market underwriting data, ensuring accuracy and supporting both internal and client‑facing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process London Market insurance underwriting data following procedural guides.
• Analyse technical data and calculate limits, premiums and deductions.
• Manage internal and external queries to maintain data accuracy.
• Provide training, support and guidance to team members.
• Organise documentation for smooth data processing.
• Contribute to internal and client reporting.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in the insurance sector.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on client satisfaction.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Planning, organisational and training capabilities.
• Understanding of insurance market practices, regulations and reinsurance placements.
• Minimum 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4+, including Maths and English.
• Willingness to pursue CII qualifications and embody PoloWorks PRIDE values.
