Senior Insurance Technician

About the role

Join a respected Lloyd's broker as a Senior Insurance Technician, supporting broking and underwriting teams with market documentation and premium management. You will work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment where technical expertise is valued.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and produce slips, cover notes, endorsements, Binding Authorities and bulk line slips.
• Prepare and review debit and credit notes for premium balances.
• Produce and interpret monthly bordereaux and account statements.
• Process profit commissions, no‑claims bonuses, treaty accounts and all premium types.
• Submit premiums to Xchanging and manage credit‑control activities.
• Support brokers, underwriters and team members throughout the placement process.

Required profile

• Strong London Market experience gained within a broker or MGA.
• Solid understanding of insurance documentation and premium processes.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
