Senior Integration Test Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Integration Test Engineer to join our hybrid team in Whiteley, Hampshire. The role supports a large‑scale systems integration programme, requiring SC clearance and close collaboration with international partners and customer stakeholders. You will create and execute test documentation, communicate results, and manage defects across software, interfaces, and network configurations.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and review test plans, designs and reports while liaising with suppliers and senior stakeholders.
• Create detailed test cases from requirements and design documents, working closely with subject‑matter experts.
• Document test results, log defects and report progress, risks and issues.
• Investigate failures, work with suppliers to determine root causes and drive resolutions.
• Analyse test data and evidence to demonstrate compliance with specifications.
• Identify and propose improvements to existing testing processes.
• Support the automation team in building regression test packs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of testing experience with an ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate.
• Strong knowledge of the testing lifecycle and functional, non‑functional and integration testing.
• Proven systems integration experience, including integration of third‑party components.
• Ability to estimate, plan and deliver tasks with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Good time‑management, proactive troubleshooting attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
