Senior Internal Sales Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Internal Sales Account Manager to join a growing electrical cable distribution business. You will act as the trusted point of contact for an established portfolio of trade customers, providing product advice, quotations and ongoing account management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an established portfolio of electrical contractors, OEMs, wholesalers and industrial customers.
• Produce competitive quotations, convert enquiries into orders and advise on cable and related products.
• Negotiate commercially while protecting margins and identify new opportunities within existing accounts.
• Liaise with suppliers to source products and manage availability.
• Work closely with purchasing and logistics to ensure timely delivery and excellent service.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and support the wider sales team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical wholesale, cable distribution or technical trade sales.
• Strong understanding of electrical contractors, OEMs and industrial customers.
• Ability to produce accurate quotations and manage pricing.
• Commercial awareness with a focus on margin protection.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, customer‑focused environment.

What we offer

• Salary £35,000‑£50,000 DOE.
• Realistic annual bonus of £5,000‑£10,000.
