Senior Investment Ops Associate

About the role

Our client, a leading wealth management firm in the City of London, is seeking a Senior Investment Operations Associate to support the accuracy, efficiency and continuous improvement of key operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date data across investment management systems, including client, custodian, securities, pricing and benchmark information.
• Perform daily and periodic cash and stock reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and resolving exceptions within agreed timescales.
• Complete trade order reconciliations, identify breaks and work with custodians and internal teams to address root causes.
• Ensure data integrity through detailed reviews, validation checks and effective data‑management processes.
• Generate and analyse operational and regulatory reporting, including transaction reporting and client portfolio notifications.
• Produce regular client, custodian and internal management information reports covering AUM, cash movements and portfolio activity.
• Prepare and distribute client reports after completing required checks.
• Support corporate action processes by reviewing custodian notifications and processing elections and instructions accurately.
• Collaborate with custodians, platform providers and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and improve processes.
• Contribute to wider projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening controls and streamlining workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 months of experience in investment operations, wealth management or asset management.
• Proven experience with cash and stock reconciliations and resolving operational breaks.
• Experience maintaining data across investment systems and producing operational reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively with custodians, platform providers and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
