Senior iOS Developer – Banking (Hybrid, Manchester)

About the role

Capgemini is looking for an experienced iOS developer with strong banking domain knowledge to lead the design, development and delivery of high‑quality mobile applications. The role is hybrid, combining time in the office, client sites and remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Collaborate with product, UX/UI, QA and backend teams to deliver robust features.
• Participate in architectural discussions, influencing technical decisions and ensuring clean, reusable code.
• Use GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, merge requests and code reviews.
• Optimize app performance, memory usage and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain high stability.
• Mentor junior engineers and support end‑to‑end project delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong expertise in Swift, SwiftUI and modern iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and client‑facing consulting roles.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and mentor junior team members.
