Senior IT Director – London

About the role

We are supporting a global organisation in their search for a Senior IT Director. Based in London, you will shape and execute the technology strategy that underpins business objectives, balancing hands‑on delivery with forward‑looking innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the end‑to‑end IT function.
• Create and lead a lean IT function focused on agility rather than theoretical best practice.
• Drive digital transformation, operational excellence and business change, with a focus on Microsoft technologies and D365FSCM optimisation.
• Consolidate IT operations and systems to ensure resilience, scalability, performance and regulatory compliance.
• Manage a team of SDMs, Business Partners, Architecture and Data MI SMEs.
• Integrate and evolve IT systems following M&A activity while maintaining 99.9% uptime.
• Act as a key business partner across Finance, Technical, People, Legal and Commercial functions.
• Champion AI adoption and other innovative solutions to support growth ambitions.

Required profile

• Significant experience in financial management and operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Proven expertise with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong analytical skills for data‑driven decision‑making.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams and complex projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
