Senior IT Sourcing Specialist

About the role

A full-time, permanent Senior IT Sourcing Specialist position in London, advertised by 1st Executive, a procurement and supply chain recruitment firm. The role drives commercial value, shapes supplier strategy and delivers measurable results in an international business. It is hybrid, with three days a week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead high-impact sourcing initiatives across IT Professional Services, Software, Cloud and SaaS
• Influence senior stakeholders and shape supplier strategy
• Deliver cost efficiencies, unlock savings and secure better contractual terms while reducing supplier and commercial risk
• Lead sourcing events, RFPs, renewals and complex negotiations
• Partner with senior stakeholders and strategic suppliers
• Work autonomously while collaborating with colleagues across the UK, Europe and America

Required profile

• Commercially astute IT procurement professional with a strong track record in complex negotiations, contract management and supplier relationships
• Background in financial services
• Proactive, credible and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Full right to work in the UK on a full-time permanent basis (required by client)

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of IT contracts across IT Professional Services, Software, Cloud and SaaS
• Strong commercial and analytical skills
• Confident negotiation capabilities

What we offer
