Senior Justice Worker

About the role

This senior position leads a team of 12 staff supporting people in prison and those transitioning back to the community. It is based in Peterborough and combines office work, site visits to prisons and probation offices, and occasional travel to further locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team delivering employment, housing, health, wellbeing, debt and benefits support.
• Coordinate service delivery across multiple prisons (Peterborough, Littlehey, Wayland, Norwich, Hollesley Bay) and probation sites.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, ensuring targets are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Maintain strong relationships with prison staff, probation officers and external partners.
• Oversee budgeting, reporting and administrative duties from the community hub.

Required profile

• Current experience in a frontline criminal‑justice or comparable role.
• Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience, or clear potential to step into management.
• Ability to travel locally and regionally; a valid driver’s licence is essential.
