Senior Key Account Executive

About the role

Movianto is seeking a Senior Key Account Executive to lead the escalation process for complex customer service issues within its Bedford site. You will act as the first point of contact for challenging queries, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Handle escalated customer queries via phone and email, owning cases through to resolution.
• Investigate issues such as late deliveries, damages, and order discrepancies.
• Provide proactive updates to clients, managing expectations and progress.
• Liaise with Warehouse, Transport, and Quality teams to resolve service failures and implement preventative actions.
• Allocate workloads across the team to ensure efficient handling of queries.
• Coach and support team members to develop their knowledge and skills.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and attend client meetings when required.
• Contribute to process improvements and assist the Customer Service Manager in driving service excellence.
• Escalate potential financial loss issues to protect the business.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably within a logistics or service‑led environment.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and thorough investigative skills.
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
• Excellent organisation and time‑management capabilities.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with a passion for service excellence.
