Senior Landscape Architect

About the role

PAD is seeking a talented Senior Landscape Architect to join its Brighton studio and contribute to high‑profile projects across the UK and the USA, from public realms and urban parks to commercial roof gardens and high‑end residential gardens.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with directors, clients, architects, developers, ecologists and contractors.
• Develop client relationships and mentor younger designers.
• Influence design culture and the future direction of the studio.
• Contribute to landmark London and international projects, engaging with varied climates and construction techniques.
• Participate in PADlab R+D initiatives and field tests for regenerative design.

Required profile

• Strong design ability combined with proven project‑running experience.
• Curiosity, technical confidence and enthusiasm for landscape, ecology and architecture.
• Desire to have greater influence, variety and ownership than in a large established practice.
• Ambition to create unique, beautiful, resilient and innovative landscapes.

What we offer

• 33 days’ holiday including public holidays and flexible working hours.
• Annual bonuses and high pension contributions.
• Full professional membership fees and Cycle‑to‑Work support.
• Monthly CPD trips and regular visits to landscapes, nurseries and exhibitions.
• Strong investment in professional development and a supportive, fun studio culture.
