Senior Lecturer – Business

About the role

The Senior Lecturer in Business will support the delivery and continuous development of teaching and learning at Fairfield School of Business. This full‑time role involves planning, delivering and evaluating innovative business courses that enhance student engagement and progression.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate high‑quality business lectures and seminars.
• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment materials and learning resources.
• Mark assignments and provide timely feedback in line with examination requirements.
• Act as Personal Tutor, supporting individual student needs and progression.
• Participate in departmental meetings, service planning and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualification (e.g., PhD or equivalent) in Business or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in higher‑education teaching at senior level.
• Ability to engage diverse student cohorts, including returning learners.
• Commitment to a student‑first approach and continuous professional development.
