Senior Legal Associate

About the role

An opportunity has arisen to recruit a Senior Legal Associate with experience advising on project development, construction, procurement and operational matters for energy and infrastructure projects. The role sits in the London office and works closely with commercial, technical and finance teams to provide business‑focused legal advice.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and execute construction, procurement and commercial contracts, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated.
• Develop and maintain contract approval policies, template management and document retention procedures.
• Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice to multidisciplinary project teams and advise on risk exposure and dispute resolution.
• Manage external counsel, track legal spend and coordinate internal governance with compliance, risk and finance functions.

Required profile

• Post‑qualification experience (PQE) in energy or infrastructure sectors, preferably with in‑house exposure.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize a fast‑paced workload, exercise sound judgement and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
