Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

An experienced commercial lawyer is needed to join a leading international infrastructure and logistics business. The role is hybrid, offering a blend of strategic advisory work and hands‑on support for high‑value projects and procurement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Advise stakeholders on contract risk, legal implications and commercial solutions.
• Support major procurement initiatives and related legal matters.
• Provide legal input on customer contracts and commercial arrangements.
• Assist with significant infrastructure and development projects.
• Contribute to strategic business growth and expansion activities.
• Work closely with senior leadership to balance legal risk with commercial objectives.
• Help improve legal processes and governance frameworks.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with strong commercial contracts experience, either in‑house or in private practice.
• Ability to deliver clear, practical, solutions‑oriented legal advice.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, visible business environment.
• Resilient, adaptable and sound commercial judgement.
• Experience in sectors such as technology, infrastructure, energy, logistics or transportation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of public procurement regulations is a plus.
